Martin Nowak

Martin Nowak is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation, a Certified Anger Management Specialist Level III, and an Accelerated Resolution Therapy Certified Therapist

As a seasoned therapist for 30 years, Martin believes that all individuals have the capacity to gain insight into the many unique qualities, characteristics and potentials that they possess and the capability to make and sustain the changes that will allow for growth, healing and the development of a more hopeful outlook for the future. Martin has a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Toledo and he is one of two Accelerated Resolution Therapy Certified therapist in Ohio.

Martin has worked in an extensive range of settings, from inpatient hospitals to outpatient clinics/agencies and private practices in the area. He has experience working with diverse arrays of populations and clientele, with his main focus being therapy with adults. Martin specializes in working with anger, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief/loss, ADHD in adults, mood disorders and men’s issues.

Martin’s style is collaborative, empathetic, straightforward, evidence-based, and solution-focused. He takes an integrative approach in his clinical theory and techniques, utilizing various therapeutic strategies and methods to help clients develop insight, strengthen their resilience, and make the changes necessary to establish a foundation for success in the future.
